We offer a number of options which are readily available to customize our standard beds should you require it. Most of these were based on our customers requests, and have worked so well we decided to offer them as build options.
Extra Head/Toe board rails: If you would like a higher or lower head/toe board than is available as standard we can do it.
Extra Side rails: Extra side rails can make your bed even more rigid, some people have a more energetic lifestyle which after time can be detrimental to a timber frame, a second set of side rails can add a lot of rigidity, and with a deep mattress are unobtrusive.
Extra Mattress slats: A thin mattress might not give you all the support you need, extra slats can replace that.
Extra Support Rails: Our double and king size beds have support rails that run from head to toe under the slat deck to give extra support, we can fit extra rails as required should you want them.
Keel rail: Some of our competitors include a fifth leg under the bed should you require it, we went one better, I won’t beat about the bush, some people are …..social in bed……very social, this can induce oscillations which can be detrimental to the rigidity of the frame, our keel damps these out by replacing the centre support rail with a substantial centre support that has a four foot long skid in permanent contact with the floor, combine this with our extra side rails and it isn’t going anywhere!

Height adjustment: If you want a higher or lower bed, we can easily alter our standard height.
Mirror Canopy: We’ve all heard of them but who has got one? Well if you bought one of our four posters you could have one! Our four poster is so rigid it can easily accommodate our 4 x 6 foot mirror. The mirror is acrylic and is bonded to a 19 mm ply backboard that sits on two support blocks, one at either end, there are also two support rails which secure four barrel bolts which go through the side rails of the canopy.
Web Cam: For the exhibitionist out there, we can fit up to two webcams in the canopy of our four poster; share your adventures with the internet! Go on, you know you want to! |
